In Action
Allpack is dedicated to being as eco-friendly as possible, not just with the
product lines we stock and the accreditations we work towards, but also
in the infrastructure that underpins our business.
Allpack’s National Distribution Centre (NDC) is an EPC A-rated building,
containing automatic lighting, air conditioning and is thermally insulated
to reduce heat loss to the surrounding environment. Our NDC is situated
near Kingswood Lake and has been designed to provide a safe nesting
space for local birds. Our car park includes multiple electric vehicle
charging points for our employees to use throughout the day. Our modern
warehousing operation utilises fully electric forklifts, coupled with our
delivery 昀氀eet being ULEZ compliant, helps to ensure our warehousing and
operations sections are as eco-friendly as possible.
Our in-house Sustainability Suite showcases our range and depth of
sustainable packaging options from paper to recycled plastic void昀椀ll,
to environmentally certi昀椀ed envelopes, to paper strapping machinery
alternatives and a vast array of plastic product ranges that contain
increasing amounts of recycled content.
We proactively work with our supply chain to ensure they deliver
products that conform to all sustainability practices and can easily
be recycled through existing recycling schemes. We are proud to hold
FSC® Certi昀椀cation, ISO 14001 & 9001 Standards and stand by our
Environmental Sustainability Policy, which is supported by our Ecovadis
and Sedex accreditations.
