Project: Sustainability Driven
Brief: Reduce their packaging carbon footprint with
sustainable packaging whilst keeping up standards for the
heavy products they pack.
A multinational company that develops and manufactures products for
construction wanted to be more sustainable in their packaging solutions.
We proposed paper alternatives where possible such as paper tapes,
paper document-enclosed wallets and using FSC® certi昀椀ed board for their
cartons and postal tubes.
For products such as machine and hand pallet wrap, that don’t have
paper alternatives, an alternative was proposed where the 昀椀lm is made
up from 30% recycled material. All these more eco-friendly alternatives
mean they saved 36,316Kg of Co2, resulting in greener credentials for
their company.
