Flute Types & What
They’re Used For
Single faced board is generally not used
in carton production, but as a separate
product used as wrapping / void昀椀ll.
Single wall board is predominately used for
packaging lightweight products and perfect
for sending through the post.
Double wall board is better suited for
heavier weighted or higher value items. It
has the greatest protection qualities and
can absorb shocks that may happen in
transit.
