Registration Fees: Producers must pay a registration fee when
registering each year. The fee is small relative to the waste fees,
for example, in 2023 it was on the order of £750 for a large
producer (and ~£365 for small), but exact 昀椀gures can vary by
regulator/compliance scheme. If you join a compliance scheme
(a third-party organization that manages EPR compliance for you),
they will typically handle the registration and data submission
(for a membership fee). Compliance schemes can be helpful,
especially for companies new to producer responsibility, as they
also provide guidance and can aggregate purchasing of PRNs etc.
