Staple Size Guide
Staplers need particular staples to avoid jams and to effectively
secure the staple. It is important that you use the correct staple
in both the thickness and length of the wire.
The majority of staples have two reference numbers which
are industry standard throughout most brands. To read these
numbers in the right order, the 昀椀rst numbers, for example 32/__
or 34/__ mean the gauge (thickness) of the wire of the staple.
The second numbers after the / imply the length of the staple leg
and is usually measured in mm.
