In today’s global climate, the importance of sustainability cannot be overstated. Allpack
recognises this urgency and is proud to lead the industry with its commitment to environmental
responsibility by starting on steps to make our pallet 昀椀lm carbon neutral. As
a frontrunner in packaging solutions, Allpack’s pallet 昀椀lm range not only meets
but exceeds expectations in two crucial areas: Plastic Tax Compliance, and
utilisation of recycled materials and now we can add carbon neutrality
to this list.
Allpack Expands its Carbon Neutral Commitment
Allpack has taken signi昀椀cant strides towards reducing its
carbon footprint through meticulous planning and investment
in sustainable practices, the company has achieved carbon
neutrality across its operations. By minimising energy
consumption, optimising transportation logistics, and
supporting renewable energy initiatives, Allpack ensures
that every product leaving its facilities leaves a minimal
environmental footprint. Now we are taking this a step
further by carbon offsetting two of our hand stretch pallet
wrap 昀椀lms, a medium cast hand stretch 昀椀lm by Vortex
(18MS410S) and a Power Pre-Stretch Machine Film from
our Sigmawrap range (19SIGC06).
We are Plastic Tax Compliant
Adhering to regulatory standards is paramount at Allpack, by
adhering to current legislation, such as the Plastic Packaging Tax,
where plastic 昀椀lms must be manufactured containing at least 30%
recycled content to be exempt from paying the tax. This proactive
approach ensures that customers can con昀椀dently partner with
Allpack, safe in the knowledge our pallet 昀椀lms comply with current
regulations.
Increasing the Use of Recycled Content
Sustainability goes beyond compliance—it’s a core value ingrained in every product Allpack
produce. Being sustainability-driven we pride ourselves on incorporating recycled content into
our packaging solutions, with many product lines made from ever-increasing amounts of recycled
materials. By sourcing and utilising post-consumer and post-industrial recycled materials, our
